Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

NJ College Baseball Player Ryan Coryell Dies Of Pneumonia Amid 'Happiest Year Ever' At 33 A 33-year-old man from Ewing has died after a two-month battle with pneumonia, his loved ones say. Ryan Coryell had married the love of his life, Kate, last year, according to his obituary. He died on Nov. 24. "Being with the now Kate Coryell, along with their dog Jeter, was easily the happiest times in Ryan’s life," his obituary reads. Man Crushed To Death Between Car, Garage In Princeton: Police A 61-year-old man was killed when he was pinned against a garage by a backing car, authorities said. Meliton Hernandez-Morales of West New York died of his injuries at the scene of the crash at about 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, Princeton police said. Huimei Qiu, 53, of Princeton, was backing down a residential driveway on Red Hill Road when Hernandez-Morales, who was in the driveway, was struck, police said. Hernandez-Morales was pinned against a detached garage, they said. Qiu was not hurt and no summonses had been issued. The investigation is ongoing.

Three-Alarm Fire Guts 4 Condos In Aberdeen A three-alarm fire damaged four condominiums in Aberdeen early Thursday, Nov. 30, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 3:10 a.m. at Wyndham Condominiums on Winchester Court, according to Aberdeen Police Chief Mattew Lloyd. Four condo units were damaged by the fire, two seriously, Lloyd said. The American Red Cross along with Aberdeen and Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management were assisting the victims, he said. There were no injuries to occupants or first responders. Jersey Shore Man Sold Cocaine To Undercover Cop Multiple Times: Prosecutor An Asbury Park man has admitted to selling drugs to an undercover officer multiple times, authorities said.
