Darien's Reilly Horan Earns Academic All-America At Amherst DARIEN, Conn. – Darien’s Reilly Horan, a senior and softball player at Amherst College in Massachusetts, was named to the NCAA Division III Academic All-America team for District 1. Horan hit .377 for Amherst, which finished 24-12. She also had four home runs and 32 RBIs. She started every game for Amherst, and served as the team captain.

New Canaan's Lindsey Schmid Helps Babson Softball Reach NCAA Tourney NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan’s Lindsey Schmid and the Babson College women’s softball team will play Bridgewater State on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Babson was one of eight teams to qualify for the Babson Park Regional. The winners from eight regional sites will advance to the NCAA Finals beginning May 17.
