Stamford Football Player Will Enter NFL Draft STAMFORD, Conn. – Former Stamford High School football player Khairi Fortt, a linkebacker at the University of California, will declare eligibility for the NFL draft, according a report on metro.us. Fortt transferred to Cal after the Jerry Sandusky scandal at Pennsylvania State University. Fortt had 64 tackles in nine games for Cal, which finished 1-11. Fortt played in 22 games at Penn State and sat out the 2012 season with an injury. He was one of the 12 semifinalists for the Butkus Award this season.
