Young, the NFL Hall of Famer who grew up in Greenwich, spoke on a conference call about supporting the Chelsea Cohen Fitness Center through his foundation, Forever Young. Young left Greenwich over 20 years ago to play college football at Brigham Young and lives in California. His heart, however, remains in Fairfield County. The camp at Trinity Catholic focuses on individual skills. Campers also play games. Smeriglio recruits former players to help teach. Agaran and Mallory Nadro worked with co-directors Mike Smeriglio and Tom Kriz at the Thursday's session. Both are former campers an…

Coach Connects With Camp Kids Coach Connects With Camp Kids Coach Connects With Camp Kids
Coach Connects With Camp Kids Sean Ireland takes on a different personality depending on the age of the kids he's working with. No, the Norwalk resident and director of Peak Performance Sports Camps in Stamford isn't a Jekyll-Hyde of the camp world. It's just that he takes a different approach with young children than with the high school students he teaches in physical education. "There's a big change in everything,'' Sean says. "It's all how you talk to the kids. You have to be goofy around the kids at camp. Anything to make them happy. With older kids, you do anything to make them miserable." Ireland taught physical…

Three demanding endurance events are a career for most people, and Deborah did all of them within a month's span. Deborah took nearly nine hours to ride the Challenge.
