A Long Island mother of two suffered a “severe and irreversible” brain injury in a car crash last month, leaving her in a vegetative state and unlikely to recover, according to her loved ones.
Tanya Fernandez, 39, was seven months pregnant at the time of the crash on Wednesday, April 15, her family wrote in an online fundraiser.
