Jocelyn Hernandez, of West Haven, died after the single-car crash just before 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16, in the 600 block of Woodward Avenue in New Haven, police said. Hernandez was riding in the front passenger seat. The driver, a 20-year-old Bridgeport resident, suffered serious injuries and remains in critical condition, police said.
