Rahmani Kabwe, 42, of Bridgeport, who was convicted on 14 charges in September, was sentenced to 47 years in state prison on Monday, Nov. 24, according to the Connecticut State’s Attorney’s Office. Blood Trail Leads Officers To East Lyme Man Thrown From Moving Car: Police Police in Connecticut said they were able to find the victim of an assault by following a blood trail leading to his house. Police said they received a call on Sunday, Nov. 23, at about 9:15 p.m. about a serious assault around 100 Hillcrest Road in East Lyme. When officers arrived, they found a "substantial" amount of evidence to support that claim, including the blood trail.
