Prospect Man Clings To Life After Crashing ATF In Waterbury On New Year's Day A 21-year-old man was fighting for his life following a serious crash in Waterbury on New Year's Day.  The Prospect man was riding an off-road UTV along Bank Street just before 6:30 a.m. when he crashed into a sign, police said.  He suffered catastrophic injuries to his head and body, and paramedics rushed him to an area hospital in critical condition.
