Inmate Found Dead At Osborn Prison; Cause Under Investigation An inmate was found dead inside a Connecticut prison cell over the weekend, triggering a full lockdown and a state police investigation. Craig Whyte was found unresponsive on Sunday, March 22, inside Osborn Correctional Institution in Somers around 1:30 p.m., according to officials. 2 Hospitalized After West Hartford Crash; Police Investigating Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in West Hartford on Friday morning, March 20, authorities said.  West Hartford police were called to the crash just before 10 a.m. at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Trout Brook Drive.  Paramedics took two people who suffered minor injuries to an area hospital for treatment. Both drivers remained at the scene.  Police did not release their names.  West Hartford police are investigating.
