Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Dead Baltimore County Music Teacher Was Recording People Without Their Knowledge: Police Numerous of recordings taken of people without their knowledge were recovered from the home of a deceased Baltimore County music instructor, authorities said. Scott Tiemann, 46, taught music lessons at several schools in the area as well as at his Pikesville home up until his death, Baltimore County Police said. Baltimore Man Arrested For Shooting, Killing 19-Year-Old In The Chest: Police A 21-year-old Baltimore man had been arrested in connection with shooting and killing a 19-year-old man, authorities said. North Baltimore Shooting Upgraded To Homicide: Police A recent shooting in north Baltimore has been upgraded to a homicide, authorities said. Police responded to a reported shooting in the 500 block of East Coldspring Lane near York Road around 9:21 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, Baltimore Police said. Upon arrival, they found Daniel Taylor, 35, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he died the next day, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
