Eduardo Cruz Garcia, of Barnegat, was charged by criminal complaint with assaulting a federal officer while the officer was performing official duties and inflicting bodily injury in connection to the Monday, June 15 incident on Route 72 in Manahawkin, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
