Dog Killed In EHT Fire: Police
A dog was killed in a fire in Egg Harbor Township Thursday, June 4, authorities said.
At 2:31 p.m., officers responded to the home at 102 Millstone Court and observed flames and smoke coming from the roof, Egg Harbor Township police said. While the homeowners were able to evacuate, the dog, Rocky, was unable to be rescued before the flames became too intense, police said.
Multiple fire departments assisted with fighting the blaze, which was extinguished after an hour, police said.
