A former cemetery manager admitted stealing more than $40,000 from one of the Capital Region's most historic landmarks and spending some of the money on trips to Las Vegas, Walt Disney World, and other personal expenses, prosecutors announced.
David Eslinger, 58, of Fort Edward, pleaded guilty to Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Identity Theft in the First Degree before Albany County Judge Roger McDonough on Thursday, March 27, according to Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon.

A Connecticut woman accused of driving under the influence is facing charges in connection with a head-on crash that killed a 70-year-old Middletown grandfather, police said.
Angela J. Grammatico, 32, of Portland, was charged with OUI, second-degree manslaughter, second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, first-degree reckless endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, and reckless driving, according to Portland police.
