4-Alarm Fire Destroys New Brunswick Auto Shop, Spreads To Home
A massive blaze destroyed an auto body shop early Friday, June 12 in New Brunswick, News12 New Jersey reports. The blaze broke out at Prestige Auto Service on Easton Avenue at approximately 3 a.m., with flames shooting through the roof. A nearby home was impacted and severely damaged too, according to the East Brunswick Independent Fire Company, which assisted at the scene. Widower Blames Dangerous Crossing In Hackensack Wife's Train Death, Sues City
The husband of a woman struck and killed by a train in Hackensack last summer has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against NJ Transit, Bergen County, the City of Hackensack, and multiple transportation agencies, claiming dangerous conditions existed at the crossing where the fatal incident occurred (see lawsuit attached at the bottom of this news article). A crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Englewood blocked two northbound lanes Thursday evening, June 11, causing heavy delays approaching the George Washington Bridge during the evening rush. Wayne Medical Office Building Sells For $7.9M
A North Jersey medical office building has sold for $7.9 million, JLL Capital Markets announced Thursday, June 11. The 37,770-square-foot building, known as 601 Hamburg, was sold by March Associates to Pinnacle Group of Hudson Valley, according to JLL. The three-story property was developed in 2002 by March Associates, which has used part of the building as its corporate headquarters since then.
