A Texas truck driver has been charged in a deadly I-95 crash in Connecticut that killed a 39-year-old man after a tractor-trailer load of plywood spilled onto the highway, triggering a chain-reaction collision involving multiple vehicles, police said.
Dewayne Garrison, 52, of Spring, Texas, was arrested in the Lone Star State on May 20 and extradited to Connecticut to face charges of negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, weapon in a motor vehicle, and failure to maintain lane, according to Connecticut State Police.

Sgt. Albert Haynes II, 24, of Austin, Pennsylvania, was discovered dead in a hotel room in Starke, Florida, on Friday, May 30, according to the U.S. Marine Corps.
Haynes was assigned to Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and was supporting a poolee function with Recruiting Station Jacksonville while on temporary additional duty when he died, military officials said.
