The owner of a pit bull is facing charges after the unvaccinated dog bit a delivery man in Northern Westchester, police said. The arrest comes months after the initial incident when Yorktown Police responded to a residence on Cording Road after hearing a report of a dog bite on Sunday, Nov. 25 around 8:30 p.m. The food delivery person stated that a pit bull jumped onto him as he was leaving the residence. A bus was destroyed and two others damaged when a two-alarm fire ripped through a bus storage and repair garage in Yorktown Heights. The fire was reported at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday at the Baumann & Sons Bus Corporation at 1701 Front St., according to the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department.
