Mother, 9-Month-Old Son Killed As Car Plunges Into Central Jersey Pond: Police
UPDATE: A 30-year-old woman who was found dead inside of a car with her 9-month-old baby had been mourning the loss of her father. Police responded to Stelton Road and Lakeview Avenue where officers found a vehicle in New Market Pond in Piscataway around 5:35 a.m., according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. Inside the car, authorities found two victims who were pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, the prosecutor said alongside Piscataway Police Chief Thomas Mosier. Male Critically Wounded In Central Jersey Morning Shooting
One person was left critical following a shooting in Central Jersey Sunday, authorities said. The male was found with a gunshot wound around 10:20 a.m. near Remsen Avenue and Seaman Street in New Brunswick, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition. Fire Victim ID'd In Central Jersey
A 77-year-old man killed in a fire in Central Jersey last week has been identified, authorities said on Monday. Dorbin Armstrong, of Edison, was found unresponsive inside his home on Plainfield Avenue, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department. Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded, authorities said. Authorities ID Man Struck, Killed By State Trooper On Route 1
Authorities have released the identity of the man struck and killed by a New Jersey State Trooper on Route 1 last week. Donelle Miles, 50, of Plainsboro, was struck on the southbound side of the highway near Raymond Road in South Brunswick around 5:55 a.m. Nov. 11, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
