A Wolcott man wanted by police is facing a long list of charges after officers say he dragged an officer with his car before fleeing and later being arrested after a chase.
Wayne Lydem, 48, and his girlfriend, Annalucy Lachance, 47, face multiple counts following an alleged Aug. 25 burglary and assault, according to authorities.
The ordeal began with Wolcott police responded to a garage burglary on Wolcott Road. Surveillance video identified Lydem, whom officers recognized from past incidents, officials said.

A warrant has been issued for a Connecticut man who allegedly entered a woman's garage, pushed her down, and then stole her SUV.
The incident took place in New Haven County in Wolcott around 9:15 a.m. Thursday, July 21.
