Several CT Lottery players in Connecticut are feeling lucky after cashing in tickets worth six-figure prizes, including one that net a New Haven County man nearly a quarter-million dollars.
First, in New Haven, resident Thomas Staton won $240,000 playing “PLAY4 NIGHT” on a ticket sold at the Express Food Mart on Whalley Avenue in New Haven that was cashed in on Wednesday, May 4.
That same day, a winning $100,000 “Royal Treasure” scratch-off ticket was cashed in by a Milford resident that was sold from the Family Mart on New Haven Avenue in Milford.

Two drivers were killed in a wrong-way, head-on crash in Connecticut.
It happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, on I-91 in New Haven County.
A 2020 Toyota Camry XLE was going the wrong way, traveling south in the northbound lanes of the highway between Exit 17 and Exit 18 in Meriden, when it collided with a northbound 2012 BMW X5 Xdrive35i, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said the weather was clear at the time and traffic was light.

A Connecticut man was found shot to death in a car when police responded to a report of a serious car accident.
Hartford County resident Tyrik Walcott, age 22, of Windsor, was found in the vehicle in front of the 2Cuzn's convenience store on Bellevue Street around 8:45 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 6.
