Who Else Ran In CT's Primary Elections?
In addition to Tuesday's primary elections for Governor, here are other Connecticut election results: Lieutenant Governor Joe Markley, the GOP-endorsed candidate, was the unofficial winner with 48 percent of the vote in a three-way race. Markley served as state senator from 2010 to the present. In the Democratic primary, former Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz was the unofficial winner over Eva Zimmerman with about 63 percent of the vote. Rep: Herbst Made Bigoted Attack On Gay Chief Justice Nominee From Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. — State Rep. William Tong of Stamford called out Republican gubernatorial candidate Tim Herbst of Trumbull for criticizing the governor's choice of a new State Supreme Court chief justice. Tong, a Democrat, called Herbst’s criticism "bigoted." Supreme Court Justice Andrew McDonald of Stamford, whom Gov. Dannel P.
