Police are altering motorists and town of Greenburgh residents of a major water main break that is impeding traffic. The break occurred late Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 28, on Dobbs Ferry Road (Route 100B), between Tarrytown Road and Terrace Street, said Greenburgh Police. : Emergency Construction Shuts Route 10 Both Ways In Denville
Route 10 will be closed in either direction Friday as a result of a water main break in Denville. On the eastbound side, the roadway is closed between Franklin Road and Mount Pleasant Turnpike, and one lane on the westbound side will be closed, local police said. Police did not have a timeline on the completion of emergency construction.

Mall At Short Hills Evacuated Due To Water Main Break
The Mall at Short Hills was evacuated Monday afternoon due to a water main break underneath the sprawling shopping complex, the business said in a statement. The mall also said it was "assessing" the situation and may reopen later today, but in a subsequent statement said it would remain closed Monday. The mall is expected to reopen on time Tuesday. Video: Water Main Break Causes Road Closure In Ramapo
A water main break in Ramapo caused damage to a busy roadway and forcing its closure. Forshay Road is closed between Parker Boulevard and Grandview Avenue in Ramapo, the police department announced early Friday afternoon, Aug. 9. According to police, the water main break caused the road to buckle, leaving a large crevice in the turning lane. The roadway is closed as Suez makes repairs, and motorists in the area have been advised to seek alternate routes.

Water Main Break Closes Busy Westchester Roadway
A water main break is causing the closure a busy Westchester roadway. Warburton Avenue in Yonkers was closed at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30 between Lamartine Avenue and Ashburton Avenue, officials said, forcing a closure of the roadway. There was also reported flooding in the area as the city fire department works at repairing the damage. Car Crashes In Parsippany Sinkhole Caused By Water Main Break, Street Closed For Repairs
Repairs to a morning water main break in Parsippany closed local streets Sunday. The break on Baldwin Road between Route 46 East and Troy Road caused a sinkhole, which was only reported after a vehicle crashed, police said. No one was injured. Starbucks, the PAL and other local businesses were without water. Police did not know when repairs would be finished as of 5:30 p.m. Smith Field is only accessible from the Route 46 East off ramp or by parking in the lot next to the Empire Diner.

An apartment building and a number of individual homes were still experiencing low or no water pressure hours after a main break in Guttenberg Thursday, Suez Water said in an alert.
