Gov. Ned Lamont announced that nearly $450,000 was raised at the recent presidential campaign fundraiser that he and his wife held at their home in Greenwich for former Vice President Joe Biden.
More than 100 people attended the Oct. 20 fundraiser. The suggested donation was $2,800, the maximum contribution under federal law for the presidential primary.

Buchwald's run for Congress sets up an open race for his 93rd Assembly District seat next year.
Buchwald, 40, is in his fourth two-year term representing the 93rd District, which includes the towns of Bedford, Harrison, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, New Castle, North Castle, North Salem, Pound Ridge and the City of White Plains.
