Pound Ridge Volunteer Firefighter, Mailman Peter Beccaria, 89 Peter Richard Beccaria, a longtime mailman in Northern Westchester and a volunteer firefighter in Pound Ridge for half a century, died at age 89 in Palm Coast, Florida. He was born on December 27, 1928 in Mount Kisco to Esther and Frank Beccaria. He attended school in Pound Ridge and Katonah and then served four years in the Navy in Korea. Peter married his wife Peggy in 1959 and had two sons, Michael and Patrick.  He moved to Palm Coast from Pound Ridge in 2003.
