Police: Poughkeepsie Woman Used Fake Prescription To Get Narcotics
A Poughkeepsie woman is behind bars after using a fake prescription to get narcotics at a local drug store, according to Town of Lloyd Police.
Kristen L. Dicken, 40, was arrested Tuesday, Jan. 16, after obtaining narcotics by using a false prescription at the Rite Aid store in Highland, said Lt. James Janso.
Dickens was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of felony forgery, Janso said.
She is being held at the Ulster County Jail on $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 insurance bond.
Poughkeepsie Man Bites Officer's Hand During Arrest, Police Say
A Poughkeepsie man is behind bars after biting a police officer who was trying to arrest him following a domestic dispute.
Kevin Longobardi, 24, was arrested Friday, Jan. 12, by the Town of Lloyd police who responded to a call for domestic violence, said Lt. James Janso.
When police arrived on scene Longobardi became combative with police officers in front of a child and bit one of the officer's hands and attempted to kick out the back window of the police car, Janso said.
He was charged with felony assault, criminal mischief, attempted criminal mischief, harassment, obstructing government…
