Isaias Outage Update: Tens Of Thousands Still Without Power In Westchester
Tens of thousands of Con Edison and NYSEG customers are still without in Westchester County five days after Tropical Storm Isaias devastated the region.
On Sunday, Aug. 9 at around 9:40 a.m., 34,842 of Con Edison’s 360,045 customers are without power (9.7 percent), and 1,677 of NYSEG’s 33,278 customers in Northern Westchester (5 percent) were reporting outages.
Con Ed has estimated that power will be restored no later than 11 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10. NYSEG has not provided an estimated time of restoration.

Isaias New Power Outage Update: These Putnam County Communities Are Most Affected
Thousands remain without power in Putnam County four days after Tropical Storm Isaias ripped through the region.
As of Saturday, Aug. 8 at 10:20 a.m., 7,008 of its 38,693 customers in Putnam (18 percent) were still without power, NYSEG said. Central Hudson was also reporting 572 of its 5,160 customers (11 percent) were still in the dark.
The most outages in Putnam County are in Southeast (1,919), Carmel (1,486), Putnam Valley (1,223), Kent (1,205) and Patterson (1,102).

More Than 300K NJ Electric Customers Still Don't Have Power
Hundreds of thousands of New Jersey residents were still without electricity Friday -- three days after Tropical Storm Isaias pummeled the region.
As of Friday morning, about 221,001 of JCP&L’s 1,131,720 customers were without power, followed by about 86,431 out of 2,326,730 PSE&G customers and 2,757 out of 545,450 Atlantic City Electric customers.
Crews were prioritizing the areas that were hit hardest by the storm, which include Morris, Monmouth and Ocean Counties, JCP&L said.
