Teacher Charged With Sexual Contact With 2 Students In Perth Amboy
A 56-year-old teacher has been charged with criminal sexual contact and child endangerment involving two students, authorities said. Edward White of Tinton Falls, a carpentry teacher, is accused of inappropriately touching the students on separate occasions while employed at the Middlesex County Perth Amboy Magnet School, they said. White was being held in the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending an initial appearance in Superior Court. The investigation is active and continuing. Body Found In Jersey Shore Recycling Plant
A body was found amid the dropoffs at a Jersey Shore recycling plant, authorities confirmed. The adult male corpse was discovered at the Mazza Recycling plant in Tinton Falls on Wednesday, Nov. 8, Chris Swendeman of the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office confirmed. It apparently was among the recyclables dumped by collection trucks from various counties. The plant was immediately closed and then reopened on Thursday. Dump Truck Flips On Garden State Parkway:

A dump truck overturned on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17 northbound at Exit 105 in Tinton Falls, according to the New Jersey State Police. Preliminary investigation revealed a Kenworth dump truck, Audi and Chevy pickup were traveling northbound. The Kenworth overturned and collided with the Audi and Chevy. No serious injuries were reported, State Police said. The crash remains under investigation.

Firefighters Knock Down House Fire Closed Holmdel Street
Firefighters knocked down a fire that closed a street in Holmdel Monday, Sept. 25. The blaze broke out around 11:10 a.m., bringing firefighters from several companies to Holmdel Road. All residents had evacuated when police arrived, and the blaze was put out by firefighters, police said. No injuries were reported. The Holmdel Fire Department and First Aid responded along with fire and first aid units from Hazlet, Union Beach, Middletown, Keyport, Tinton Falls, and Aberdeen. An elaborate drug fraud ring operating in more than half the counties in New Jersey stole doctors’ prescription pads as part of a scheme to stock up on opioid-boosted cough syrup, authorities charged. Medical offices in various parts of the state – including Wayne, Morristown and Bridgewater – were broken into by Divinete Jeffries, 30, of East Orange, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. Authorities are actively searching for a Monmouth County teenager who has been missing since last weekend. Alexandria Deuter, 15, was last seen walking on the 100 block of South Street in Eatontown, just west of the Route 35 corridor, at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. A serious crash closed Route 18 on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m.on Wednesday, May 24 in the southbound lanes of Route 18 at the Garden State Parkway in Tinton Falls, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Jersey Shore Man Admits Offensive Touching, Prosecutor Says
A Tinton Falls man has admitted to endangering the welfare of a minor at The Boondocks Fishery in Red Bank, where they previously worked together, authorities said. Trinidad Mendez-Romero, 32, pleaded guilty on Wednesday May 3, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago.
