A woman already facing time behind bars for her role in a drug trafficking ring operating out of the Hudson Valley also posted a threat on social media targeting a Dutchess County high school, according to an indictment unsealed this week. Man Called 911 From Event In Area Threatening To Kill People, Police Say
A man who called 911 from an event in the area has been charged with threatening to "kill people," according to the Ramapo Police Department. The event took place in Airmont around 12:21 p.m. Saturday, July 7, when Ramapo dispatch received a 911 call from an unknown man via cellphone that threatened to "start killing people," said Det. Nobody enjoys a trip to the DMV, but a 28-year-old area man took things to a whole new level. Orange County Student Charged With Making Terroristic Threat
An Orange County teenager is behind bars after reportedly making a threat against a school in the Village of Florida. An investigation into a threat made at the S.S. Seward Institute led to the arrest of Brandon Hallock, 17, who has been charged with making a terroristic threat, according to a Times- Herald-Record report. Following arraignment in the Village of Florida Court this week, Hallock was remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 bond. He is due back in court later this year to answer the charges.
