Authorities: 12-Year-Old Boy Torched South Jersey Grocery Store A 12-year-old boy has been arrested for setting fire to the parking garage below an Acme grocery store in South Jersey, authorities said. The Acme at Eighth Street and West Avenue was reported on fire at 12:53 p.m. Sunday and the grocery store had to be evacuated.  No one was hurt, but the store remained closed on Tuesday. Firefighters responded within minutes and by 1:15 p.m. the blaze was extinguished, authorities said. Damage was confined to the parking garage underneath the supermarket. Shakespeare Theater Fire Called 'Devastating' By Stratford Mayor As State Joins Investigation The loss of the iconic Shakespeare Theater in an overnight three-alarm fire described as "devastating" for the Stratford community by Mayor Laura Hoydick, who announced state officials have joined the investigation. Flames shooting up in the air could be seen for miles after the blaze engulfed the entire building around 1 a.m. Sunday at 320 Shore Road, east of I-95 and alongside the Housatonic River.
