In Hampden County, the Springfield Police Department is searching for Julian Martelli, who was last seen the night of Tuesday, April 12, according to the Wilbraham Police Department. Two Western Mass men have been arrested for allegedly robbing a TD bank in the region. The robbery took place in Springfield around 9:15 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at the bank located on the 500 block of Sumner Avenue. Police in Western Massachusetts have asked the public for help in the search for a 36-year-old woman who has been missing since 2019. Janan Welz-Scutt was reported missing to the Springfield Police Department in Hampden County in September of 2019, according to a report from the Pittsfield Police Department on Wednesday, March 23. One Killed After Crashing Into Hydrant In Springfield
A Western Massachusetts moped rider was killed after crashing into a fire hydrant. The incident took place around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16 on Boston Road in Springfield. According to the Springfield Police Department Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, an adult man was riding a moped when he crashed into a fire hydrant. Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In DelCo: Police
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Springfield Township (Delaware County) early Sunday morning, authorities said. On the morning of Feb. 6, officers were responded to the 100 block of North State Road on a report of a pedestrian crash, Springfield police said. The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the driver remained at the scene. It was not immediately known if charges were filed.
