The incident happened on Friday, Nov. 21, at approximately 11:36 p.m., when Waldwick police officers responded to the Super Dome Sports on Hopper Avenue in Waldwick for a report of a male who had brandished a firearm at multiple individuals following an altercation, Waldwick Police Lt. Juan Buezo-Hernandez, age 52, of Airmont, entered the guilty plea to first-degree rape on Wednesday, July 3, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announced on Tuesday, July 8.
