Winners: Central Jersey Lottery Tickets Will Split $1.9M Jackpot
A pair of lucky New Jersey Lottery tickets sold in Central Jersey will split the jackpot worth more than $1.9 million.
The tickets from Saturday's Jersey Cash 5 drawing were sold in Middlesex and Somerset counties.
The tickets were sold at the following locations:
Super Stop & Shop #818, 24 Summerfield Blvd. & Route 522, South Brunswick
Quick Chek #144, 55 Main St., South Bound Brook.
Each ticket is worth $961,875.
The winning numbers were 03, 12, 20, 35, and 43 and the XTRA number was: 02.
The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold.
'No Questions Asked': NJ Buys Back Nearly 1,000 Guns
Authorities collected nearly 1,000 guns during no-questions-asked gun buybacks in Passaic, Essex and Atlantic counties, New Jersey’s top law enforcer said Thursday. They could soon be coming to a location near you.
The firearms came in all sizes, calibers, makes, models and ages, from a pearl-handled derringer to a reported 27 assault weapons.
The total also includes 487 handguns, 281 rifles and shotguns and 146 inoperable weapons and BB/pellet guns, New Jersey Acting Attorney General Andrew J. Bruck said.

Tornado Watch Issued Across 16 New Jersey Counties
The National Weather Service on Thursday afternoon issued a tornado watch across 16 New Jersey counties.
The watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. across Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties.
The watch -- less severe than a warning -- was also issued for most of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Storms were expected to arrive between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., and end between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Straight-line winds, large hail, lightning and flash flooding are also possible.

Pair Charged With Murder In Fatal Stabbing Of Somerset County Man, 23, Prosecutor Says
Two suspects are facing murder charges in connection to the fatal stabbing of a 23-year-old Somerset County man earlier this week, authorities said.
Nasir J. Williams aka “Duck”, 20, and Ishadir S. Hunter aka “Ice”, 22, both of Somerset, were taken into custody Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder, first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, first-degree armed robbery and third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, Robertson said.
