Self-Published 'Inspirational' Wyckoff Author Charged With Torching Former Home
A self-published Wyckoff author who wrote about suffering from depression and schizophrenia was charged with trying to burn down her former home. Carolyn M. Kaetz, 54, “admitted to Detective Sgt. Kevin Kasak that she started the fire” at her former residence at 115 Huntington Court in March, destroying it, Lt. Joseph Soto said. Missing: Alert Issued For 60-Year-Old Area Man
Have you seen him? An alert is in effect for a missing area vulnerable adult with schizophrenia who may be in need of medical attention. George Bingham is a 60-year-old from Nanuet who was last seen wearing an olive green jacket on April 3. He is 5-foot-6, 175 pounds, bald, with brown eyes, has no teeth, walks with a limp, and may travel to New York City. Port Authority Police At WTC Reunite Non-Verbal Missing Man With Family
A missing Bronx man who couldn't speak and wasn't carrying identification seemed confused as he wandered around the 9/11 memorial in lower Manhattan before dawn Thursday. Port Authority officers assigned to the World Trade Center handed him a pen -- on which the man wrote an address that ended up reuniting him with his family. Loved ones and others distributed fliers and police had issued alerts in the search for 21-year-old Tanvir Hossain. Hossain, who's non-verbal and has schizophrenia, was last seen on Sunday.
