ID Released For Teen Killed In Robert Moses Causeway Bridge Crash
The teenager killed in a three-car crash during the morning commute on the Robert Moses Causeway Bridge has been identified.
The crash happened around 6:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 on the southbound side in Suffolk County, police said.
Jaylen Kelly, 19, of Islip Terrace, was the operator of a 2002 Toyota Corolla and was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital and succumbed to his injuries.
Idalecio Coelho, 47, of Farmingville, was the operator of a 2004 Ford F-150 and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and was hospitalized with internal injuries.
