A bagel shop with two successful storefronts in Westchester County has opened a new Connecticut location.
Lenny's Bagels, eponymously named after owner Lenny Damato, has used the same Manhattan bagel recipe for 35 years at its Rye Brook and Pelham shops.
Its process involves steaming uncooked bagels before they are baked.
After its Friday, Oct. 2 opening, Nutmeggers in Greenwich can taste their tried-and-true bagels at their new establishment.

Covid-19: Here Is The Latest Breakdown Of New Cases In Westchester By Municipality
After seeing new COVID-19 cases topping 200 in recent days, Westchester has seen a sharp downtick, with less than 100 newly confirmed cases.
The Westchester County Department of Health reported 72 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, Oct. 22, down from recent days.
Though there have been new infections reported, the positive infection rate in Westchester has remained under 2 percent:
Saturday, Oct. 17: 5,852 tests administered, resulting in 78 (1.3 percent) positive cases;

Three Men Charged For Westchester Burglary Spree That Netted Hundreds Of Thousands
Three men are facing charges for a two-month robbery spree in Westchester that netted them hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of valuables.
Bronx residents Omar Willis, 29, Latiek Frazer, 27, and Thomas Ricketts, 29, were indicted by a Westchester County grand jury for multiple burglaries in August and September last year, the Westchester District Attorney's Office announced on Friday, Oct. 16.
Frazer was arraigned on dozens of charges, while Willis and Ricketts, who have outstanding warrants out for their arrest, failed to appear in court. Their arraignments were adjourned and schedule…
