One person was killed and two others suffered serious, life-threatening injuries in a rollover crash following a police pursuit Thursday night in Fairfield County. The crash occurred on northbound Route 8 in the area of Exit 5 in Bridgeport after a 2016 Toyota 4runner hit a guardrail, went down the embankment and slammed into two trees, state police said.  The three occupants were hospitalized with serious and life-threatening injuries.  Corbin Cooper, 18, of Bridgeport died as a result of his injuries. The incident occurred on Route 8 in Trumbull when the deer ran onto the highway in front of the car shown above as the woman was driving southbound near exit 8.
