Several Injured In Route 17 Paramus Pileup PARAMUS, N.J. -- The first of two Thursday morning chain-reaction pileups on major Bergen highways left several people injured and snarled traffic on southbound Route 17 in Paramus. Paramus police responded to the crash near West Century Road along with Paramus EMS and mutual aid ambulances from The Valley Hospital and Holy Name Medical Center.  All five vehicles involved had to be towed.
