: Victims Survive Horrific Crash Into Route 4 Restaurant In Paramus
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Two speeding vehicles slammed into the side of a Route 4 restaurant in Paramus late Saturday, taking a parked car with them, in a horrific crash that sent at least three victims to the hospital. Somehow, none of them sustained injuries that would be considered life-threatening, police said. Two Injured In Route 4 Paramus Wreck
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Two people were injured in a crash Friday morning on eastbound Route 4 in Paramus. One reported neck and back pain and the other chest injuries from the airbag deployment. : Deli Worker Sexually Assaulted 6 Kids At Hackensack YMCA
A Paramus supermarket worker living at the Hackensack YMCA was arrested Friday and charged with sexually assaulting six children between the ages of 6 and 9 there last week. Hackensack police Friday morning arrested Timothy Smith, 42 , who been living at the Main Street Y, on sexual assault and child endangerment charges, Capt. Peter Busciglio said. Several Injured In Route 17 Paramus Pileup
PARAMUS, N.J. -- The first of two Thursday morning chain-reaction pileups on major Bergen highways left several people injured and snarled traffic on southbound Route 17 in Paramus. Paramus police responded to the crash near West Century Road along with Paramus EMS and mutual aid ambulances from The Valley Hospital and Holy Name Medical Center. 10-Car Pileup On Route 4 In Teaneck
TEANECK, N.J. -- (UPDATE) Only one minor injury was reported in a 10-car pileup on eastbound Route 4 Thursday morning, responders said. The chain-reaction crashes occurred just after 9:30 a.m. near Belle Avenue. It came after another pileup -- this one on Route 17 in Paramus -- injured several people.

UPDATE: Weather-related utility troubles closed streets, cut power to thousands of customers and kept responders busy Friday morning in Hackensack, Elmwood Park, Englewood and elsewhere in Bergen County. Passaic Street in Hackensack was closed between Summit Avenue and Esplanade in Hackensack because of a downed wire that temporarilyy knocked out power to more than 2,500 customers, PSE&G said.
