$1B Netflix Production Studio Replacing Long Vacant NJ Property
A Jersey Shore property that has sat vacant for more than a decade will soon be transformed into a nearly $1 billion Netflix production studio. The entertainment company plans on committing $848 million in capital investments to develop the facility on the more than than 292-acre site on the former Fort Monmouth campus in Monmouth County. Man Steals Central Jersey Police Car, Crashes It Twice: Report
A Paterson man was arrested after stealing a South Amboy police car and getting into two different crashes, NJ Advance Media reported. Woodbridge police responded to the stolen car at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, July 4. After crashing the stolen car on Route 35, Jamil T. Robinson, 28, fled on foot and allegedly tried to carjack three other vehicles, the outlet said.
