Route 22 Reopens After Hours-Long Closure Following Crash With Downed Wires
This story has been updated. A stretch of Route 22 in Northern Westchester has reopened after a crash with downed wires caused its closure for most of Wednesday morning. The closure was between Mustato Road and Pine Hill Drive, just south of Route 35 in Katonah.

Saw Mill Parkway, I-684 Gridlock: Crashes Block Lanes
This story has been updated. There was gridlock on both the Saw Mill River Parkway and I-684 for much of the Friday afternoon commute following northbound crashes that blocked lanes. The Saw Mill River Parkway crash was northbound at Roaring Brook Road (Exit 33) with gridlock to Route 120. The I-684 incident occurred at Route 22 (Exit 3) in Armonk with stop-and-go delays I-287 while the lane was blocked. There were additional northbound delays a short time after the line reopened due to a stalled vehicle in the right lane on I-684 at Route 172 in Bedford (Exit 4).

Four-Alarm Blaze Destroys Dover Restaurant, Adjoining Apartments
This story has been updated. A four-alarm fire destroyed a restaurant and adjoining apartments and led to the hours-long closure of a stretch of Route 22 in the area, according to fire officials. Multiple tanker trucks and firefighters from throughout the region rushed to the scene of the blaze in Dutchess County at the three-story structure in which people were inside at the time the fire started at the Dover Cafe and six apartments, said officials with the Dover Plains Fire Department. Tree Blocking Route 120 Tops North Castle Police Blotter
A North Castle Police Officer came to the rescue of multiple motorists, moving a tree trunk that had been blocking Route 120. A member of the Westchester County Police Department reported to the North Castle Police Department shortly before 1 p.m. on Aug. 3 that there was a piece of a large tree in the roadway, near IBM and Swiss Re, blocking the roadway to motorists attempting to drive through the area. Have you seen him? State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a teen who has gone missing from a residential facility for troubled young men from the New York area. A man and woman are facing charges after being busted having sex in a McDonald’s parking lot on Route 22 in Dutchess County, according to state police.
