A 22-year-old man from Central Jersey has been sentenced to seven years in New Jersey state prison in connection with the death of another motorist while driving drunk, authorities said. Fatal Crash Reported On Route 1 Central Jersey: Developing
Police firefighters and EMS crews were called on a report of a fatal crash, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred about 12:30 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes of Route 1 near Adams Lane in North Brunswick, initial reports said. First responders reportedly found an unconscious and unresponsive person out of the vehicle suffering severe injuries, according to an unconfirmed report. Man Dies In Edison Mobile Home Fire: Report
An unidentified man was killed by a fire that swept through his mobile home in Central Jersey, according to NJ Advance Media. Smoke billowed out of a trailer on Plainfield Avenue off Route 1 when firefighters arrived around 10:30 a.m., fire officials told the outlet. Authorities ID Man Struck, Killed By State Trooper On Route 1
Authorities have released the identity of the man struck and killed by a New Jersey State Trooper on Route 1 last week. Donelle Miles, 50, of Plainsboro, was struck on the southbound side of the highway near Raymond Road in South Brunswick around 5:55 a.m. Nov. 11, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Miles was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is active and continuing. Firefighters, police and EMS crews were called about an overturned dump truck in Mercer County, authorities said. The dump truck crash was reported about 11:20 a.m. and closed both sides of Route 1 in West Windsor Township, initial reports said. Motorist Trapped, Airlifted After Route 1 Collision In Mercer County
EMS crews were called to a serious crash in Mercer County, authorities said. The crash occurred about 9:30 a.m. Saturday on Route 1 at Carnegie Center Boulevard in West Windsor, initial reports said. The motorist reportedly was trapped and had to be airlifted by medical helicopter to an area hospital, reports said. About 1:30 p.m., there was a separate crash reported in Trenton at North Hermitage Avenue and West State Street. Two crash victims were taken to a regional hospital, according to initial reports.
