Serious Crash Causes I-84 Closure A busy stretch of I-84 is closed during the height of the morning commute after a serious crash in Connecticut. The closure is in both directions after the crash involving a rolled-over tractor-trailer happened on the eastbound side just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 30 in Northern Fairfield County near Exit 13. Connecticut State Police said the crash led to a large fuel spill.  Eastbound traffic is being detoured to local streets at Exit 11. Motorists are being advised to use alternate routes if possible.
