Duo Wanted For Stealing Cash, Credit Cards In Setauket, Terryville, Stony Brook, Port Jeff
Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying two men wanted for allegedly stealing wallets and cash from unlocked cars.
The incidents took place in June in Suffolk County in the Setauket, Terryville, Stony Brook, and Port Jefferson areas.
According to police, the two men entered the cars and stole wallets containing cash, credit and debit cards, and licenses.
They were seen driving what appears to be a light-colored sedan, police said.

Four people were charged during an overnight sobriety checkpoint overnight at a busy Long Island intersection.
It was conducted in Port Jefferson Station at the corner of Route 112 at Hallock Avenue from around 11:10 p.m. Friday, July 1 until just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2.
Police officers from the Suffolk County Police Department’s Highway Patrol Bureau conducted the joint operation.

A total of 15 people are now facing charges after an overnight New York State Liquor Authority inspection at a Long Island bar that was overcrowded, police said.
The raid happened around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, March 26 in Port Jefferson, at Curry Club at SaGhar, located at 111 W. Broadway, Suffolk County Police said.
