Accused Clifton Slasher Charged With Attempted Murder
Authorities charged a Clifton man with attempted murder after they said he slashed another city resident earlier this month. Peter Perez, Jr., 21, wounded the 43-year-old victim at the corner of Sheridan and Wilson avenues shortly after 9 p.m. April 7, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Authorities: Passaic Man Sexually Assaulted Pre-Teen
A Passaic man sexually assaulted a pre-teen at least twice over the past few months, authorities charged. Quirino Rojas, 37, remained held Monday in the Passaic County Jail on two counts each of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and child endangerment. Paterson Man Charged With Three Years Of Sex Assaults On Child
A Paterson man raped and otherwise sexually abused an underage child for several years, beginning when the victim was only seven, authorities charged. The assaults by James Jackson, 37, began in September 2012 and continued for the next three years, the victim – who’s now 16 – told city police, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. A Clifton man was charged with attempted murder in what prosecutors said was a bias attack on a Mexican grocery store clerk. Shairo Gil, 24, missed when he tried to stab the clerk at Barrales Grocery on Main Street in the chest, they said.
