Intruder Climbs In Through Bedroom Window, Rapes Clifton Child: Authorities
An intruder climbed in through a Clifton child’s bedroom window, then raped and choked the trapped youngster, authorities said.
Andres Vasquez, 24, of Belleville was captured on Friday after Clifton detectives interviewed the victim and witnesses following last Tuesday’s attack, they said.
Vasquez, who has a criminal history, remains held in the Passaic County Jail, charged with first-degree aggravated assault and kidnapping, as well as sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual contact, criminal restraint, criminal contact, burglary and child endangerment.

A Wanaque man who threatened his sister with a knife had an assault weapon with a silencer and large-capacity magazine, as well as a pipe bomb, three other “destructive devices” and manuals, authorities said.

Paterson PD: Detectives Nab Neighborhood Drug-Dealing Pair
If a pair of drug dealers thought they'd keep a low profile in a quiet Paterson east side neighborhood, they were mistaken, police said.
Detectives seized nearly 1,300 heroin folds, a combined 73 Percocet and Xanax pills, 20 bags of crack and a half-pound of pot during warranted searches, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.
They also arrested Jeremy Rodriguez, 23, who lives at the Trenton Avenue residence a block and a half down from School No. 25, and Bloomfield resident Arismendi Acosta, 18, on various drug charges, he said.

Pair Charged In Cold-Blooded Killing Of Beloved Paterson Camp Counselor
Two days after he was laid to rest, authorities announced the capture of two men accused of participating in the cold-blooded execution of a camp counselor from Paterson who’d worked for the city DPW.
The gunman who authorities believe fired the fatal shots at Nasir Davis, 26, on May 3 has yet to be publicly identified.
