Recognize them? Connecticut State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a man and woman who were caught on camera stealing baby formula and disposable razors from an Oxford grocery store. Investigators released surveillance photos of the suspects this week, who were caught on camera stealing the items from Market 32. In total, the unpaid items have a value of approximately $1,103.18. Police investigators in the area are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a motorist who hospitalized a teenage bicyclist and took off. An 18-year-old bicyclist was struck on Route 67 in front of the entrance to Market 32 in Oxford at approximately 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon. A Westchester man who was allegedly commissioned to burn a rental house down in Connecticut and attempted to elude arrest has been busted by police following a two-year investigation. An investigation is underway after a body was found Friday afternoon at Stevenson Dam in Oxford. The body was found on the property at around 3 p.m. and there is no criminal aspect to this investigation, according to state police. The National Weather Service has confirmed that two additional tornadoes made landfall in western Connecticut during Tuesday's intense storms, bringing the total number to pummel the state to four. An EF1 tornado hit Winsted with reported maximum winds of 95 miles per hour, traveling for almost a mile, uprooting trees and damaging all in its path. Connecticut State police have identified the Southbury man who was found dead at the Naugatuck State Forest. The body of 64-year-old Jeffrey Bussolari was found Tuesday in a wooded area in Oxford, near Old Litchfield Turnpike, police said. OXFORD, Conn. -- An Oxford man was charged with shooting and killing his neighbor's cat because he thought it was a stray, according to state police. State police said that on Sunday, 48-year-old Craig Middendorf was annoyed at what he believed was a stray cat, so he shot and killed it in his backyard with a .22 caliber rifle. The cat ended up belonging to a neighbor, who lived next to Middendorf in a duplex on Roosevelt Drive, police said.
