Rockland Measles Cases Keep On Climbing
The number of measles cases in Rockland County has increased again with 94 confirmed cases and four suspected cases.In addition, the number of people being vaccinated has skyrocketed with a reported 11,100 MMR vaccines being given since the beginning of the epidemic in late September, the Department of Health reported. The number of suspected measles cases in Rockland County continues to grow amid the largest measles outbreak in the state in decades. Rockland County Health officials announced on Monday that there are 77 confirmed cases of measles in the county, up from 74 last week, as well as 14 suspected cases, up from four, that are being investigated.
