West Orange Man Accused Of Stabbing Orange Woman To Death The Essex County Prosecutor's Office has announced the arrest of man suspected of stabbing an Orange woman to death in her home Thursday.  Katrina Perry, 34, was found dead in her home in the 100 block of Main Street. On Saturday, Christoper Dudley, 34, of West Orange, was arrested and charged with murder.  Little additional information was immediately available but authorities believe the two had been dating.

William Boggier of the Orange Police Department, who was seriously injured in a crash while leading a funeral procession last month.  The service is planned for Thursday at 6 p.m. at St. Matthew A.M.E. Church, 336 Oakwood Ave. in Orange. The service will be led by Melvin E. William Boggier, who suffered serious injuries in a vehicle crash earlier in the day.  A city spokesman said Tuesday morning that Boggier was in the ICU at University Hospital in Newark. Orange Cabbie Sentenced To 47 Years An Orange man who gunned down a cab driver during a robbery was sentenced Monday to 47 years in prison, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said. Sheedley Pierre, 23, was convicted last month of murder, robbery, weapons oofenses, conspiracy and for using a juvenile in a crime. Pierre was sentenced to 40 years on the murder charge and an additional seven for employing the juvenile in the crime.
