Body Of 35-Year-Old Man Recovered In Hudson River, Police Say
The body of a man has been recovered after he fell into the Hudson River while walking along its edge with friends.
Orange County resident Maurice Pryce, age 35, fell into the water around 10 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, in the area of the Blue Pointe Restaurant, said City of Newburgh Police Lt. Joseph Burns.
When police arrived on the scene, several witnesses said they saw Pryce, of the City of Newburgh, fall off the dock into the water.

A Lehigh Valley man previously charged in a home break-in is facing a laundry list of additional charges in connection to a burglary and rape case from May 2020, authorities said.
Clement Swaby, 34, was charged Wednesday with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, indecent and aggravated indecent assaults, burglary, possessing instruments of crime and terroristic threats, Bethlehem Police said.
Swaby is accused of breaking into a Bethlehem home, threatening the victim at knifepoint and raping them on May 19, 2020, police said.

Hudson Valley Man Busted With Crack, Fentanyl, Police Say
An area has been arrested on numerous alleged drug offenses following a search.
Orange County resident Kareem Valles, age 45, of Port Jervis, was arrested on Tuesday, March 23 for multiple narcotics-related offenses.
While conducting an investigation, Port Jervis Police Department officers determined that Valles was in possession of a significant quantity of crack cocaine and fentanyl, Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden.
During the search, Worden said officers seized 32 grams of crack cocaine, 6 grams of fentanyl, a number of alprazolam tablets, and $1,500 in cash.

A man and a woman were allegedly busted with some 1,258 envelopes of heroin and an assault rifle during a search warrant by an area anti-violence task force.
