Woman, 19, Stabs Teen Boy Multiple Times During Area Altercation, Police Say
A 19-year-old woman was arrested by Port Jervis Police for the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy during a fight.
The incident took place during the late evening on Sunday, June 23, on Sussex Street near the Norfolk Southern rail line, said Port Jervis Police Chief William J. Worden.
During the attack, police Juliette Pampalone, of Port Jervis, allegedly used a small folding knife to stab the 15-year-old multiple times in the upper body and neck, Worden said.

Andre Sims, 35, of Peekskill, was found guilty of first-degree coercion and first-degree unlawful imprisonment, both felonies, after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in September last year.

A 27-year-old man is facing charges after police say he crashed into a guard rail and embankment while driving impaired on I-87.
New York State Police say they responded to a report of a one-car personal injury accident on I-87 in the town of Newburgh on Thursday, May 30 around 10:20 p.m.
Further investigation revealed that the driver of a Toyota Camry lost control of the vehicle, struck the center guide rail, crossed over both northbound lanes and struck the earth embankment on the east shoulder, according to police.

Two area residents were nabbed with 250 bags of heroin following a traffic stop in the village of Florida.
Steven Scalici, 23, of Warwick, and his passenger Tiffany Reed, 23, of Sparrowbush, were arrested Monday, May 6, after Warwick K9 Officer Kevin Halsey and Officer Keith Slesinski conducted a traffic stop on Route 94 for several traffic violations, said Warwick Police Lt. Thomas Maslanka.
