A Fairfield County woman, who was 8 months pregnant, has been charged with DWI and other charges following a crash.
Karen Chavez-Euceda, age 36, of Stamford, was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 20, for the incident which took place on Saturday, June 13, said Sgt. Jeffrey Booth, of the Stamford Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad.

A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly driving while high on marijuana after he hit a construction barrier and ran into the back of another vehicle.
Erik Gonzalez-Castro, age 20, of Stamford, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 27, after police responded to the report of an accident in Darien on Post Road near Hollow Tree Ridge Road.

Homicide Charge Filed Against Surviving Driver In Fatal Crash
Charges have been filed against the surviving driver in a fatal two-car crash on Route 2 in early October.
The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office said on Wednesday, Oct. 21, that George Cortina, 62, of Turners Falls, is being charged with crimes connected to the Oct. 4 accident on Route 2 in Greenfield that left Jonathan Rohrs, 41, of Acton, and his dog dead.
