Police: Sussex County Man, 32, Swings Tomahawk In Public Parking Lot Assault
A Sussex County man threatened and swung a Tomahawk at a victim during two separate altercations last week, police said.
Robert Cibula, 32, of Andover Township, approached a man in the Adams Street Parking Lot in Newton while holding a knife and making threats on Dec. 29 around 8:40 p.m., local police said.
The victim ran from the area and returned a short time later only to be approached once again by Cibula, who swung at him with a Tomahawk axe and injured his hand, police said.

NJ Man Arrested For Selling Heroin, Coke Hours After Parole Release Under Murphy COVID Law
A Sussex County man was arrested for selling heroin and crack cocaine, just hours after being released from parole supervision last week, authorities said.
Leighton A. Brown, 42, of Newton, was arrested at his home last Wednesday, and charged with distribution of heroin and crack cocaine, as well as selling CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone, police said.
Brown was released from parole supervision on Nov. 4, under Gov. Murphy’s COVID-19 law that reduced and ended parole time, police said.
He was being held at Morris County Jail in accordance with the Criminal Justice Reform Act.

Police: Trio Selling Heroin, Ecstasy Busted In Sussex County Traffic Stop
Two women and a man accused of selling heroin and ecstasy were arrested following a traffic stop in Sussex County Wednesday, authorities said.
Lisa M. Repici, 31, of Newton, Dominick J. Wilson, 34, of Paterson and Shaunamarie C. Orlando, 30, of Wantage were charged with various possession and distribution offenses for heroin and ecstasy after the Newton stop, police said.
Repici and Wilson were being held at the Morris County Jail. Orlando was issued a summons and has been released, authorities said.
